Wow, that version of Hold Me is tight!

I noticed Chris and Lindsey dont provide any backing vocals on Sara. Was this the norm on the Mirage tour or just this concert? Maybe I am too familiar to the touched live version with backing vocals? On the Tusk tour they definitely sang back up and "Sara's"

I think that’s just standard fare for Mirage era Sara’s.

I love Stevie's voice in this era. But wow this song doesn't come off as nearly as pretty as Tusk Tour versions. Backing vocals surely would have helped.

I remember her complaining in a rehearsal tape I had: "I don't like the backing vocals, mainly because there aren't any!" (paraphrasing)

I agree. Her voice is fine but she's being a big lazy with her orchestrating the verses which is very Stevie. She was not mailing it in like the Wild Heart version the next year though. Having said all that, its still the second best tour of Sara with the Mac. Sadly we would have to wait 33 more years for a live version of Sara with these 5 again. I also noticed the Mirage Sara is edited down from the Tusk version.

The band isn't very inspiring either. Which is weird for this show and era.

This version of Eyes is very tight as well! They sound fantastic.
