An easy one for me: Lindsey.

Boy were both parties lucky to collaborate with one another. Lindsey and FM would both probably have gone nowhere without one another (unless maybe Lindsey decided to pursue a career in production).

I actually think Stevie was the better writer at first (through the early eighties), but over time Lindsey surpassed her.

He is one of my top five guitarists. As Waddy Wachtel says, he's the best fingerstyle guitarist in the history of rock and roll.

I love his production. I wish he had produced other artists more. Can you imagine him producing, say, Sting or Tom Petty?

He is not a world class singer, but is certainly serviceable to his own material; and knows exactly what touches to add to the material of others (his backing vocal on "Gypsy": "lightning strikes, maybe once maybe twice"; "she was just a wish, she was just a wish"

A difficult guy, I suspect, but a true visionary. "That's All For Everyone" and "Go Your Own Way" from the same artist. He's right when he characterizes different work as "left brain" and "right brain."

I'm surprised "Show You How" didn't become a concert staple. I thought it was a classic the minute I heard it.

What classics has Stevie written since the '90's? "Trouble In Shangri-La?" "Love Is"?

His solo on "Frozen Love" is among the best ever. Another song I'm surprised didn't become a concert staple.

As a guitarist and as a producer he is among the best ever. As a writer and as a singer he became the best in Fleetwood Mac in the long run.

Christine has always been my favorite, but I totally agree with you on these points. When Lindsey played onstage with The Killers, it made me want to see what he could do as a producer with bands like them.

I also think his singing is underrated. There’s so much to praise about his guitar virtuosity that people don’t often mention that he actually has a lovely voice and it’s stayed very consistent over the decades.
