Default Another member of a talented family

I was "googling" last night and came across this

http://www.davereece.com/

Presumably they must be related on her mother's side

Gail

Edit 13:19 Actually I've just remembered I didn't find this through Google it was MSN search engine thing

Interesting. Since everyone was discussing whether or not Christine would ever record or play with FM again, maybe we should consider at least pushing for her to record and/or play with her cousin assuming her style is compatible with his, of course.

Wow! I didn't know about this guy. And, he's released 4 solo albums....one more than his cousin.

We're assuming Christine would want to work with him. It seems a little odd that she didn't use this available cousin for her solo album since the opportunity would have really benefitted his career. Perhaps she doesn't like his playing?

Isn't it obvious? She just doesn't want to work with guys named Dave.

Maybe they're not that close. I'm not close to any of my cousins. I've got 8 first cousins none of which I would recognise if I bumped into them in the street.

I've never heard of him. I don't think his albums could have sold very well

In one of Christine's ITM interviews a few years ago, she mentioned that she asked Dan to add some guitar to her original "You Are" track because he was the only guitar player she knew. I guess she either isn't close with this cousin or she doesn't like his playing. He did use her name on his website though.

And that is what kinda' bugs me. He's blatantly using his cousin (1st, 2nd, 3rd?) for potential publicity.

I don't think he makes a huge song and dance about it.

I assumed they were related on her mother's side (because of the surname) but on thinking about it that's not necessarily the case. If her dad had a married sister then her children wouldn't have the Perfect name so he could be from her father's side.
