Chinese White Boy
Ok so was listening to a complilation album of various blues artists, and came across 'Chinese White Boy' by Peter Green and Mick Green.
Does anyone know anything about this song or when it was recorded? My album is called 'The Blues Anthology' from 1999, but it is simply a compilation of various blues artists. |

Quote:
The album was recorded by one Laurie Gaines in 1986. Peter is said to be playing on "Chinese white boy" and "Post modern blues". Possibly also "Eprom song". Apprantly Greeny remembers nothing about it! |

chinese white boy
it is said that peter became fond of koto music
michael green was a friend of Raven who is the main performer in this Album It appears under at least three different cover releases kind of an electronic "Captain Beefheart" attempt. Don Van Vilet does live in England now so, who knows? Chinese White Boy is one of the more entertaining cuts it was done in 1986 I think during Peters murkier period. Maybe thats why he does not remember doodyhead |

Thanks guys for this info. Basically it seems like Two Greens Make A Blues is simply trying to trade on Peter's name...

And Mick Green's (ex Pirates) name. The album has very little input from Greeny, but it's worth picking up if you can find it cheaply and like Beefheart-style blues.

Yes of course, I didn't think about that. When I saw Mick Green I instantly thought of Mike Green (Peter's brother). See it is amazing what you learn on the Ledge.
