Lightbulb Songs From The Documentary...

Well, we got some nice previews, but nothing concrete to really tell what type of sound/direction this album is going in.

We heard the opening tune - those jamming sessions betweent he three. I really like this melody, which resembles "Bleed To Love Her." I hope lyrics can be put to this instrumental and it could end up on the album. Hopefully they weren't just playing for the sake of the documentary! LoL

Then he had the song with Steive singing "How we couldn't make it etc" while Lindsey strummed back and forth. This didn't sound anything special to me, anyone have a clue what this song is?

Then we had the song were Lindsey was singing the lyrics, "...Heal the wounds if I can/Get you to dance." Or something like that. I like those vocals a lot for some reason, and I hope that makes the album. Have no idea if those are Stevie lyrics he was singing. Any possibility that song is "Peacekeeper" or "Thrown Down"??

See ya!

Default Illume (?)

From Stevie's Journal entries on the Nicksfix:

Illume
Says the candle that I burn
A reflection in the window
All the way to point Dune
A cliff dweller from the old school-

I like the coastal cities
I like the lights
I like the way the ocean blends
Into the city at night
Like living on a working river
The coastline is glittering-
Like a diamond snake-
In a black sky

And I am alone with my thoughts
And how we could make it-
And what we have all been through
And all of the trauma-
With the smell of Nag Champa

Like a kiss- like a stranger-
What we have seen on this journey
Are what legends are made of-

I will not take you for granted
My friend, my dear one, my love-
I wouldnt trade you for jade
Or for diamonds~
I need you to be there~
Please~
Remember when I am haunted
That I was just scared-
And when I remember
That day in my life-
I will remember that you-
Were there-

Stevie Nicks

You can hear the bolded parts distinctly when she's singing. Then later, when the four of them are sitting around the couch and Stevie is singing:

" I cannot pretend that the heartache goes away. It's just like a river; it's never ending. I cannot pretend that the heartache falls away~"

This is from her entry on Sept. 10, 2002.

So, looks like this is one source of new material.
