Christine radio tribute
On Johnnie Walkers Sounds of the 70s this afternoon.
A small tribute to Christine. The segment opened with 1)..”Crazy bout you” from the album Christine Perfect…he couldn’t play “I would rather go blind” as that was released in 1969. 2)..he then featured “Say you love me” Christine explained she had played it first time for the band during rehearsal in a small basement, when Stevie and Lindsey joined in with the 3 part harmony, she had goosebumps. 3)..He next played “Songbird” and when asked, Christine explained it wasn’t written for anyone specific, more an anthem for everybody. )4..Johnnie closed with “Never going back”…he asked her what was her favourite Fleetwood Mac song and she said NGB. There was chat in between each song and it was nice to hear her. |

Thanks for posting. Johnnie loved Christine. The BBC was good to her.
