Having Difficulty with Password

I have lost my current password and am only able to post because one of my devices has remembered it. However, if I’m not on this device, I can’t post or respond, so I have followed the instructions for getting a new password. However, the process takes me in a frustrating loop.

I get an initial email with instructions that tell me to click on a link that returns me to the page. I’m told once I do so a new password will be emailed. But none ever arrives and I’m stuck on the site unable to log in.

Can a site administrator send me a new password to the email I have on file?

Can you not view your passwords on the working device? I know it's not always easy to do so.

No, I can’t. Believe me, I’ve tried. If I get logged out of this device, I won’t have any way of logging in again.

I don't know what to tell you. I've had to reset mine a few times over the years, and it was always a fairly quick process, even though I've read differently of other people's experiences.

I now keep it stored on a memo pad in my phone, even though my phone and computers have it saved. I even have it memorized(I'm crazy with number memory). Good luck, my friend.
