Really interesting stuff. It definitely skimmed over a lot of stuff (I realise there's only so much you can fit into an hour) but it was great to see the footage from the recording of Pacific Ocean Blue.
I also wondered if they were going to bring up Christine McVie but thankfully they did, a few photos I had never seen before too.
Thanks again for the heads up chazlightyear!

It was really interesting, but God didn't he look old for his age at the end, really quite sad. I also hadn't realised his initial interest was with Stevie either! The Brian Wilson concert was really nice too, It makes a change to have something decent to watch once in a while

He looked terrible, I knew how he died but I didn't realise how tragic he had become, it was very sad. He had completely lost his voice by the end too. I also didn't realise he had a hand in writing You Are So Beautiful. It's a great shame that Pacific Ocean Blue wasn't recognised for the great work it is back when he was still alive, maybe it could have saved him. Although success may have only hastened his decline.
As for the Stevie thing, even though the documentary claimed she had no interest in him the way I always heard it was that he did have a fling with Stevie first before he got together with Christine.

Oh man, I would love to see this somehow! Dennis fascinates me and his music is some of the most underrated and amazing I've known. The Endless Harmony documentary did an okay job delving a little bit into his darkness, including some interview footage with one of his ex-wives, but I'm always interested in different takes on his story.

It was really interesting. I didn't used to have much sympathy for Dennis Wilson because I thought he was an ar*ehole but I must admit I have slightly more sympathy with him now.

didn't Brian Wilson have a "crush" on Christine at that time?

They often repeat these documentaries, Is it on iplayer i wonder?

Going back to Dennis i'll admit i didn't know much about him other than his relationship with Christine. Obviously i knew the beach boys music but i didn't realise he had solo work. so its something i' m going to find out about now, Its always a bonus when you get get turned on to something new!

After I signed off the computer I did put it on and saw one photo of Chris and something about her saying he was 'half boy half insane'

I figured I'd missed her bit, seeing as it was 15 minutes before the end so I turned it off, content that I'd atleast seen her

I remember Lindsey saying Brian did and he used to hang around FM to be near Chris.
