The only things on your page are things you yourself tweet, or things others tweeted that you then re-tweeted. It should show up in her direct messages box so she can see it that way. If she is following you she will also see that you tweeted it.

I've tried four times and all of them appear only on my page. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

It's not like Facebook if that's what you are thinking.

Go to Marissa's page, there will be a gear looking thing. Click it, an option says "mention ****" and you use that. But if Marissa has tweeted at all, and you see her tweets on your homepage, you can just use reply. To send someone a direct message, you also use the gear thing on their page.

Ok, well you were able to post 3 tweets on my page. How do I post tweets on other people's pages? I did what you said, with that gear thingy and the message posted on my home page. I have since deleted it though.

It is suppose to haha, I wish I were there to explain this to you. On your homepage, you will see "@vivfoxfireflies" this how you know whether people have tweeted you or not. Whomever you tweet must check theirs to find this out, or it will simply show on their homepage, and they will reply to you. You will then see the reply either on their page, your "@vivfoxfireflies" page, or just your home page.
