Default 1977 photo of Chris

An article in the Daily Mail on 18 Oct has a couple of nice photos of the band I never saw before. One of them shows an apparently very happy Christine. Here's the link: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...ires-them.html

Not to be rude but I don't know what rock you've been hiding under. Those two pictures have been shown a million times, especially the first one.

I think Stevie was wrong about Christine not having been back once to the States.

didn't she do some promo work for ITM?

Yes, she spent a week in New York doing interviews, including that VH1 Classic TV thing & that World Cafe radio interview. I believe she may have had to contractually do that since she didn't tour to promote the album.

Come now, play nice. Just 'cause you've seen a certain photo a "million times" (certainly an exaggeration) it doesn't mean someone else has seen it even once, especially someone who is relatively new to this board.

And even if it's been shown before it's still a good one and worth another look.

I have seen the name "Lindsay" so many times now I'm starting to forget how the name is really spelled. Mr. Buckingham must have given up that particular fight long ago. Isn't "Lindsay" usually a girl's name, and "Lindsey" a boy's?

It is a good picture/article, I agree. As for Lindsey's name, I see it wrong so often too. I think the name 'Lindsey/Lindsay' started as a guy name but ended up a girl name (sort of like Whitney and Sidney have). Lots of times when I tell someone that Lindsey Buckingham is my favorite musician they answer "Cool, who's SHE!?!

It seems in England you get more males being named Dana, Stacey, Leslie and Lindsey than you do here.

Rutheda obviously suffered so much over her own unfortunate christening that she decided that she would make her youngest miserable too.

With a name like that LB, how much more testosterone can there really be in the band.

So, next time around, we'll make things tidier and give the boy a male name; give the girl a female name and, as for Christine . . .

We know that Christine got ribbed about "Perfect," but I wonder if she ever said anything in response. I'm sure she had the same dry wit as a youth that she has now. The question is, did she talk back or did she just keep a flippant, internal monologue going in her head?

When a teacher chided her about something and said more was expected from Miss Perfect, I wonder if Chris had a tart reply at the ready.

That was my friend's exact reaction when I told her last year that I was going to see Lindsey. She goes, "Who's she?"

We'd known each other for five years. I was considering ending the friendship right there.

Maybe Lindsey's mom loved names that ended with an 'e' sound (Jeffrey, Gregory, Lindsey)

Maybe not when she was very little but I bet as she got older the replies got to be more tart
