Does anyone know how to make a pivot table in Excel?
I have several thousands of rows on a spreadsheet. But, I want to condense them in such a way that it eliminates duplicate rows.
Here is an example of what I have: Patient Name Chart # Treatment Date Insurance Smith, John 12345 1/21/08 Blue Cross Smith, John 12345 1/21/08 Blue Cross Smith, John 12345 1/21/08 Blue Cross Smith, John 12345 5/09/08 Medicare What I'd like to do is get rid of any dupes and get this result: Patient Name Chart # Treatment Date Insurance Smith, John 12345 1/21/08 Blue Cross Smith, John 12345 5/09/08 Medicare Unless someone knows a formula, I thought that maybe a pivot table would work, except I have no idea how and the 'Help' isn't very helpful. Any idears? |
