The Carpenters
Hi All
Off topic, but lately ive been slowly getting into The Carpenters stuff and its not bad, ive never heard their stuff before and honestly its pretty good, was stunned to see they have sold over 150 million records, and also never knew Richard Carpenter was so damn talented, I even got a hold of his 1997 classical solo album Pianist, Arranger, Composer, Conductor, and I find it beautiful, he reminds me of Lindsey as far as talent, I mean dang the guy knew his stuff What you guys think? and were they as good as they appear to have been ? as it was bewfore my time and are the in any hall of fames? I only know their hits but boy do I love Karen Carpenter's voice. I was always amazed that she was the singer and the drummer. She was the first known case of a famous person dying of Anorexia that I was aware of. Her death put that issue in the world spotlight.

Oh my goodness. The Carpenters are one of my all-time favourites and Karen is my favourite female voice, bar none.
I have all their stuff and instantly have some playlists running through my head if you're interested! I can doa hits one, a deep cuts one etc...
