![]() That previous one is also just a "Chinese copy" of Peter Green's masterful "I've Got A Mind To Give Up Living/ All Over Again", which is said to contain one of the best guitar solos of all time - the sound of which has been described as "liquid gold" flowing from the guitar. When you add Peter Green's nuanced, perfect vocals to it, you get "The Feel" that has not been surpassed since.
You can listen to this over and over again without ever getting tired of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1XWzbVktTQ In this solo, Peter Green repeatedly rises to a new level when the listener thinks he is already on the highest step - the highest step is found between 6:00-6:20 minutes, after which he makes a masterfully controlled descent from the highest level of the emotional scale to the surface of a calm lake. ![]() One of Peter Green's biggest admirers is Mick Fleetwood, who says in the documentary "The Peter Green Story", that he misses the years when Peter Green was involved. He says that sometimes, when he's sitting with friends in the evening, he digs out old recordings from those years to listen to - a moment his friends call a moment when Mick's booze has turned to heavy levels...
In this accompanying interview, Mick Fleetwood reflects on those years soberly at his home in Hawaii. Mick Fleetwood Talks Tribute to Peter Green https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLB3OJFl0n4 |

![]() Young Peter Green had a direct connection between his head, hands and fingers and a higher power, but then it disappeared and never came back. When Peter Green was in his prime, a normal gig anywhere was an unforgettable experience for the audience. Here is an example from the time when Peter Green was the God of the Blues.

![]() Danny Kirwan's playing style complemented Peter's perfectly, as he was already a disciple. Here's DK a couple of years after his Master left the band. Kirwan's singing voice is not up to par with his guitar playing, but here he comes close to the emotional level of Peter Green's performance in a duet with Christine Perfect.
