Rumours Rehearsals?

I was wondering if this video, and the other performances from the same day, were rehearsals for the Rumours tour? It always confused me.

That's not a rehearsal. It's a sound check (or a full-dress filming of a sound check for marketing), according to the LIVE album liner notes, & it took place in April on the tour. The liner notes say the Paris show, but Brian Johnson thinks it might be an American show. Irrespective of the location, it predates the May leg of the tour.

This has to be the clearest, lightest version of this video (film) I've ever seen. Looks like it was taken from one of the masters of the actual film. Just need to upgrade the audio...and NOT from the Live album with the overdubbed Lindsey/Christine backing vocals. I want ACTUAL what was recorded at that time. Is that too much to ask lol?

Thanks! I had heard something about this too, but I always thought it was just a rehearsal.

Definitely. I hope there's more like this out there. I wonder if this was part of the stuff Mick was talking about releasing a few years back that never came to fruition?
