She doesn't say FM is in the dna of Neil and Mike... contractors not members... just doing the job to feed their families. Good for them!

Umm, they’re completely loaded independent of Fleetwood Mac.

Yeah, they’re pretty wealthy, I would imagine.

Do your feelings get hurt when it's expressed that Neil Finn is not a true member of Fleetwood Mac? If they do, I am sorry.

Chris didn't mention Mike or Neil because Mike and Neil were more like Adam Lambert or Paul Rodgers + Queen; privileged guests invited to sing the songs of the band
Mike doesn't have TP and the HBs anymore
When Crowded House or Split Enz plays the States, they play the small venues Lindsey plays.

All I said is that both are independently wealthy outside of Fleetwood Mac.

To suggest that either guy needs the money is comical. Both are multimillionaires with legendary careers.

Well, Mike gets royalties off the songs he wrote for other people, like Stevie, as in, Stop Dragging My Heart Around, etc; he also wrote for/with Don Henley, (Boys of Summer, Heart of the Matter) and cowrote so many HB hits (Refugee, Running Down A Dream, You Got Lucky, etc etc) so the value of his catalogue should he ever decide to sell his share is pretty freakin high. He might not sell out arenas on his own, but... dude is definitely loaded.

According to da Googles, Mike is worth 60M. John McVie is worth 50M, if that gives anyone a reference point. That shows where songwriter's extra shares really add to the pile.

John does get Rumours royalties, so it does speak to the value of an album that continues to sell and sell......

Where here did I say Mike and Neil were middle-class?
My point is they took the job offer to do a nameless tour and not produce art. Thus, paid contractors who just took the money to pay tribute to FM.

Neil is basically feeding his family. He hired his kids for CH and there's a Finn Family Band too. Silver spoon!

You do know that Split Enz was Tim Finn’s band when Neil joined, right? The Finns are a musical family, like the Wilsons, Carters, Thompsons, and Wainwrights.

ETA: And where did I say anything about “middle-class?”

I do but I look at that differently than hiring your kids. I look at Neil bringing Liam and Elroy into CH like Trump bringing Jarvanka to the WH.

Did Ann or Nancy hire each other or they started it together?

LOL, they’re accomplished musicians in a rock band, not unqualified senior government officials. Get a perspective.

CH was always Neil’s band. He also brought his brother Tim in at one point. As it is, the current version of CH has the two surviving original members and the producer/keyboardist responsible for the legendary organ solo in their biggest hit. Neil plays a lot of music with his kids, you know, being a family of musicians, so why not bring them along? They have chemistry and obviously they know the songs.

I was talking more about Brian, Carl, Dennis, and Carnie.

That said, Ann joined Heart before Nancy.
