I personally loved the movie! I liked it a lot better than the prequels and found it was quite exciting! I saw it in moving seats so when the ships took off or when there were fights the seats would shake. It was truly a great movie and I really want to see it again with those seats. SPOILER: I really want Luke to talk about Kylo when he was training him. I also feel like Rey is his sister abandoned so Kylo wouldn't kill her maybe? I don't know but the way Kylo was like "I'll teach you" in the battle seemed either like he had a crush on her or he didn't want to kill his relative. But then again that's just me. I'm really excited to see what will happen in the next movies!

I'm not a Star Wars fan at all but I thought this new one was pretty good and way better than the last 3 that were out. We saw it in IMAX 3D and I think the 3D made the movie it would not have been as good seeing it in 2D. I really have no idea how people are seeing this movie in 2D they are missing so much! The forest scene was my favorite!

Thumbs up

Loved the force awakens! I've seen it 5 times already. I've never seen a movie more than twice in the theatre. Maybe Lord of the Rings.

Bring on Episode 8!

The best thing about the new Star Wars is Han Solo and Chewbacca to me. I guess they've taken chances with two main characters being a white female and a black male when the largest segment of Star Wars fans/consumers have to date been white males, but otherwise they've played safe. They will have to offer something more if the next one is going to keep things going I think.

Yeah, Trumbo was a more exciting movie for me, but then I'm heavy into film history going back to the silents. I got very excited about The Aviator for example and couldn't wait to get the DVD to geek-out with all the extra features which is probably not so different from Star Wars fans minus the memorizing dialogue part. It's amazing something like Trumbo gets made in a spectacle and remake dominated business. I hope it wins a little statue or two.
