Thumbs up Bravo Matt...

I agree...Stevie is the FACE of FM...the recognizable ROCK STAR...and Lindsey is the sound of FM...BUT...without them BOTH, it's not as successful (only stating fact). I love em both, even tho Lindsey is my fave....man, this is like the whole Kelly Clarkson versus Justin Guarini (American Idol) thing...I love em both, but I love Justin more and it's crazy when people get upset if you say the TINIEST thing about Kelly that's not 100% positive. It can get pretty ugly...

Anywho...they both rock, we have our faves, case closed.

I just want to say.......I'm SOOOoooooo glad I got this album for Xmas!!!! I'm absolutely loving it ...I can't stop listening to it!! it's so different to anything else, if it's meant to be dark and dingy, I don't see that at all... everything is upbeat and very catchy...needless to say the slightly wacky " I must go" is my favourite.. The only problem I have with it, is it's NOT long enough, I could have done with alot more songs!

Exclamation ITA!!

Go Insane is GREATNESS...it's quirky and wierd and yes, the songs are catchy. When I first became a LB fan, I bought OOTC and GI, and I listened to them endlessly...and the song GI was and still is my fave from the album...I am an 80's freak, so it suits me just fine!!

I'm so glad you got it for Christmas too!! YAY YOU!!

Default It's probably unfashionable to post on topic, but here goes...!

Hey all. (I'm back after a few months. Did you miss me? "Who? Huh?" they say )

Well I sorta got an LB/FM present ... a New Years present anyway!

In the week leading up to New Years, my city's main casino had revival acts like Elvis, Beach Boys and the Big O. The New Years Eve act was... a Fleetwood Mac cover band!!

BUT, I had a shift at work (waiter). EVERYONE has to work New Years Eve at my work, or youre fired basically.

But, somehow, like the miracle of Christmas (and New Years!), I convinced my boss to let me go at 11:15, which meant I had time to tear downtown on my bicycle to catch 30 mins of the FM act.

I only caught Blue Letter, Second Hand News and Rhiannon, but each was done with a really loud and fresh fervour, just jamming with scorching distorted guitars. But the Lindsey guy looked more like Rick Vito! And the guy playing Mick, when he finally stood up from behind his drums, was really short!! The Chris and Stevie roles were down pat.. I just wish I had seen some Christine songs.

So, how's that for a Christmas/New Years present?! What a great start for the New Year! I couldnt believe my luck (plus $US20 of tips that night!!)

Default Yes, cross fingers and toes and.. anything!

Hey Mich! Thanks for the thoughts about us poor Mac-deprived antipodeans! Needless to say I would seriously consider going overseas to see the Mac should they not come here, but financially I could do without it having just returned from overseas!

And yes, the weather is lovely actually, here in Brisbane. It's not excessively hot like usual at this time of year. I'm hoping to get down to the surf for a while before (shudder) uni starts again!

Oh, and um, yeah... OOTC is great...!
lol! No actually, that was one of my best purchases.. And it wasn't particularly easy for me to get my hands on. From the rap you gyuys are giving 'Play in the Rain', I'll have to think about 'tracking' down Go Insane soon!
