Remember Me is just so damned infectious, as are all of Christine's songs on Penguin. For that matter, all of Christine's pre '75 songs are just sheer perfection.

I've always considered Illume to be one of Stevie's most mystical and magical sounding songs, especially the unusual backing vocals and the instrumentation, it also contains one of the coolest lines she's ever written - "I am a cliff dweller from the old school". In my opinion Isn't It Midnight is better than both Little Lies and Everywhere. I actually prefer some of Christine's pre-1975 songs (Why, Did You Ever Love Me, Heroes Are Hard to Find) to her songs on FM'75 and Rumours.

Woman of a Thousand Years
Brown Eyes
Closing my eyes

At least the BBC radio show Desert Island discs lets you have eight songs, a book (in addition to the Bible and the Complete Works of Shakespeare) and a luxury item. This was a tough choice. At least about 90% of the canon is burned into my cerebral cortex, anyway-all I would have to do would be to close my eyes and I could call it up....

Beautiful Child - Live in Boston version - gorgeous slow-moving pathos, Stevie sounds heavenly, and your heart snaps as the final lines draw out

As Long as You Follow - I bet I can find a new harmony line in this song every day I am stranded on the desert island

Mystified - it's all about the atmosphere here

I wasn't going to join in with this, as I imagined it being far too difficult to chose. But, after much deliberation, it finally came to me....

Gypsy
Sisters of the Moon

Well, I think it depends on how much time you spend on the island, alone... :P
But, these three are mine:

- Big Love
- I'm So Afraid (live)
- You & I (Part I)

On an island, I would need some music to cheer me up.

Never forget tonight
