I picked these 11 songs, 10 songs isn't very common for an album. Order was interesting to try and pick, here's what I came up with. I'm glad we got 20 songs though, including the bonus CD!

God, it's awesome how we have such different opinions on this one! Seriously though- I love the fact that it was 18 songs. SYW hold a special place in my heart because it is the album that got me into the Mac!!!!

I think there's an excellent album lurking within those 20 tracks, there's just some stinkers on the album that drags it down (I'm looking at YOU Silver Girl. One does not want to hear Stevie Nicks sing "girly girl" ever again)

So, I'd have to go with -

Not in that order though. I just went down the album and picked the songs I liked

Smile at You would get a place if it wasn't butchered as badly as it was, perhaps if it sounded closer to the angry demos D=

And just out of curiosity, why do so many people despise Silver Girl? To me it's a great song!

note: I love RTTG as a song but I don't like what Lindsey did with it nor I do like Stevie's vocal so that's why I gave it the boot. I think she needs to re-record that song with another producer and sing it on a day when she hasn't got a cold!

No offense to the other songs, but they sound more like solo songs than Fleetwood Mac. THESE songs sound and feel like Fleetwood Mac.

I love that Say You Will is kind of a mess. It has so many great songs and even the "lesser" songs are interesting in context of the record. The only three I simply loathe are "Smile at You" (horrible arrangement) "Silver Girl" (sleep-inducing) and "Goodbye Baby" (reminiscent of "When I see you again).

This isn't to say I dislike Stevie's contribution to the record. "Illume" and "Everybody Finds Out" are, I think, her best songs in years. "Throw Down" cooks, "Destiny Rules" is hot, and "Say You Will" is pretty catchy.

Still--I've said it before and I'll say it again--to have had six Christine songs minus three lesser ones each from Stevie and Lindsey would have been heaven.

Are you sure you need a bonus track? What's the difference between track 2 and track 4?
