Gift of Screws CD Set for September 16, 2008 Release

I'm not bothered by the cover. Just a pic of Lindsey looking sort of sad and constipated, which is nothing new and something I've come to expect. He looks that way throughout those UTS videos and on the cover of the last studio album and in a LOT of promo shots for the past 5 or so years.

Yes, it ages him. Yes, he's sooo much more attractive and youthful when you can see his teeth (like that famous picture with the kids), but it is what it is. The art speaks for itself. Picasso isn't being remembered for his face.

As for whatever music we get, I'd be more than happy with our leaked GOS songs, every single one, even in the raw state we got them originally...they were great, love them, as is...

That's funny. Because Lindsey knows we have asked about it so long. He even said something along the lines of, 'I'm not sure that was actually going to be the title. It was one of them.' I don't have the quote. But it was something like that, that made me want to shake him. So, yes, I do think calling it Gift of Screws is sort of like saying, "happy now?"

People were saying that we had to have the song Gift of Screws, since that's the album title, but really there's no song called Rumours, so we didn't have to have it. It could just be Lindsey's nod to the 10 years we suffered through. Hmmm, I see that sexy Mirage version of NTF in my head: Don't make me wait.

But it's different because we know he has a song called Gift of Screws so if that's what he's calling the album then there's a 99% chance that the song would be on the album. Of course we now know that it is on the album.
