new album/tour or nothing?

Hopefully after Stevie has a chance to catch her breath, and spend time with her family and friends, and enjoy a break for a while, my quess would be that she will put out a solo album.

Fleetwood Mac is on hold in 2010> and possibly through 2011. I think they will come back in 2012 for a final tour (if everyone is still healthy ) in support of the long promised reissue of the 35th anniversary re-release of Rumours w/extra unreleased footage & if were lucky a final CD.

Stevie is recording a new solo CD in 2010, and most likely will tour behind that after it's release. She probably felt a little slighted about the release date for "Soundstage Sessions, where she only had a week to promote during a small break in the 09' tour, due to Reprise pushing back the release date from the fall of 08' till Spring 09'. She was so proud of this DVD/CD & she did the best she could doing press junkets, Barnes & Noble signing, and Jimmy Fallon. If Stevie had more time, she probably would have done more day/night television performances on Today Show, Ellen, Jay, Dave...etc. with even more press!!

Mick is touring w/ his blues band leisurely and will spend time with his family.

Lindsey will take this break to spend time with his family, his kids are still really young, and tinker around in his home studio writing new songs for what will eventually either be a solo cd or a final FM cd (with additions by Stevie that she holds back from her solo project) or both!

Basically as someone posted before....Shampoo, Rinse, Repeat.....
This is nothing new for FM, except now they are getting much older, and time is of the essence.
