Default Videos

–no live videos
–only ones with Lindsey
–only videos aired as such *at the time of the song's release*

1. Dreams (see below)
2. Go Your Own Way
3. Tusk
4. Gypsy
5. Hold Me
6. Big Love
7. Everywhere
8. Little Lies
9. Big Love
10. Paper Doll
11. Peacekeeper
12. Say You Will

What are listed online as "official videos" for "You Make Loving Fun" and "Rhiannon are from a short film whose name I forget. Were they aired as individual videos *at the time of the release of the songs (or there around)*? [I understand from Villavic's comment below that "Go Your Own Way" from the same short film *was* aired as a standalone video around the time of the song's release (but it's possible that song is the only one of the three that was).]

How did (or "why does") the "Dreams" video have the Midnight Special tree? Did they take the video footage from their performance on that show and cut it to the audio of the song? Did they lip-synch/mime their appearance on the show, and then use that appearance as the video? Or was there no video *at the time of the song's release*, and the group only retrospectively called a mimed appearance on Midnight Special the "official video" for the song?

What am I missing? Or mistakenly including (given the above criteria)?

Not sure about that but I would say yes, since I remember GYOW was included in Heroes of Rock 'N Roll (1979) hosted by Jeff Bridges, so I guess the clip was previously aired.

There was a DJ here in Peru that had a TV show in the late 70s (prior to MTV) of pure video clips. I remember watching the first ABBA, Police, Queen video clips. I also remember watching I Don’t Like Mondays.

Well curiously I don't remember Tusk, but probably it was aired there, because I do remember the Sara (live) videoclip that now is in the FM YouTube official channel.

Thanks, I'll add "Go Your Own Way." It's not the studio version, but neither is it a live version in the sense that it's not taken from a concert with an audience.

Didn’t the Peacekeeper and SYW videos feature “live” vocals?

If just the vocals were live I'd count the video (since "Dancing In The Dark" Springsteen has done live vocals for every video).

I just checked and the video versions appear to be the "Live From AOL Sessions" versions as on the expanded 2CD version of the album (though oddly the performance of "Say You Will" runs about four seconds longer on the video than on the expanded album, whereas "Peacekeeper" is a perfect time match).

Does anyone know whether there was an audience for those performances?

Thanks.
