One time I came home and my wife and kids went into the garage and had to pull me out of the car because I had Slow Down on repeat.
It was just awful. I kept humming it as they put me to bed.

But why???

It reminds me of what Phil Spector did to “The Long and Winding Road.”

It feels like the end of some sci-fi love story where they just saved the world from Armageddon.

You know what song would go great with an orchestra? Why
I think it would be amazing if the music held to the integrity of the original song

If she decided to add some piano and vocals and make it hers. Not just some backing tracks to an original piece. Joni Mitchell's "Both Sides Now" was amazing.

She (Joni) went too far and did a follow up and that was pretty bad IMO. But, at least it was mixed with new vocals and recorded at the same time.

Big mistake. The instrumental sounds like another song. It looks like the opening of a fairy tale class B movie.

I feel that at any moment the characters of A Midsummer Night's Dream will appear.

Even though the orchestral version I heard isn’t great, I’m still buying the album. It’s the only way the record company will see we want more releases from Christine. I want the 1984 album rereleased. I want the concert video rereleased. It’s worth paying $13 in the hope this may lead to something more substantial down the line.

I am with you but don't hold your breath. Before she sold her songs she should have put out a "best of" collection. But thats water under the bridge. I already placed my order and hope it sells well. But of all my Christine McVie CDs, I bet this one gets played the least
I will look at the glass half full. Glad something "new" is coming out.

I think Songbird would have sounded better if this was the music
