My parents got a computer either right before I was born or shorty after. We had dial-up for about 12 years before we got dsl in `09. Boy I don't miss that.

The Ledge and The Nicks Fix existed in 1997 (I posted my Thanksgiving concert review in The Ledge, when the forum had the old format).

I'm pretty sure there was Photoshop or similar software in 1997. Remember they used Morph software in Michael Jackson's Black & White video (1991). And Photoshop is far more simple than Morph.
