1. The Good The Bad and the Ugly
2. Big Jake
3. McClintock
4. North to Alaska
5. El Dorado
6. Cat Ballou
7. The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance
8. The Shootist
9. True Grit
10. Rooster Cogburn and the Lady

It's obvious I am a John Wayne fan (Thus my part of my full name) and he was my Mom's favorite actor in the whole of Hollywood - she had massed a HUGE and EXPENSIVE collection of items (No cheap black velvet junk - ALL museum quality artwork) that featured "The Duke" - and yes indeed she was buried with John Wayne items in her casket.

I would rather watch ANY western over the current wave of CG movies which have zero storylines...

My Mom's favorite saying was "I'm like John Wayne toilet-paper...I'm rough and tough and I take NO **** off of anyone"

I loved 'Johnny Guitar'. Mercedes McCambridge was such a nut, driven with such a fire to destroy Joan Crawford.

"I'm going to kill you."

"I know."

2-Dances With Wolves (Kevin Costner)
3-Broken Arrow (Henry Fonda)
4-The Cowboys (John Wayne)
5-The Searchers (John Wayne)
6-Wyatt Earp (Kevin Costner/Dennis Quaid) (Tombstone is better, imo)
7-The Horse Soldiers (John Wayne)
8-Shenandoah (James Stewart)
9-Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid (Newman/Redford)
10-The Long Riders (The Keach Brothers, The Carradine Brothers, The Quaids Brothers)
