RIP Anne Rice, dead at age 80

Rest In Peace Anne Rice. She died from complications of a stroke at the age of 80. She was my favorite Horror Author. Interview with a Vampire and Lestat are two of the best books of all time. I'm really surprised by this news and very sad.

I only ever read Interview by Anne Rice. I read it as a camper in the summer of 1976. I found it alluring. It was splendid to my little teen brain. (It was right before I saw my first Fleetwood Mac show, too, and they reminded me of a bunch of strung-out vampires.)
