Oh, the pain is real. In the past few days, our new leader-elect has suggested that the USA should make a bid to acquire sovereign nations who have no interest in joining us. If they refuse, he would impose tariffs to destroy their economy. We are also renaming the Gulf of Mexico because the Gulf of America has a nice ring. There's not enough room in this thread for me to list the hundreds of issues with this fascist grifter. The ignorance is equal parts laughable and tragic.

Trump has shown us exactly who he is. That's no surprise. The tragedy is that over 50% of the American people see absolutely nothing wrong with electing a narcissistic charlatan to represent them. None of his outlandish actions were a deal breaker. This is on us. Enjoy the s**t show from afar.

Hard lessons are waiting for some of these fools. Hard lessons, indeed. They are so obsessed with anything that remotely resembles socialism that they never bothered to google the term "oligarchy".
