I liked "Freestyler".

Nothing will beat "No Limit", er, "No Lyrics" anyway.

I know, I know!
But at least we've something to compensate that for
I think most Dutch artists/bands suck when they try to write lyrics in English. Hm, apart from Bettie Serveert maybe, but Carol van Dijk has lived in Canada for quite a while.

Here in Finland we have a theory that Finnish lyrics must always be extraordinarily good in order to be classic, and that in English lyrics always sound good even if they're full of cliches. But then that's why we're Finnish, doh.

you said it

anyway, I think that's the way dutch lyricwriters work too.. unfortunately I can't help noticing those clichés and horrible english. No, most of all I notice their fake accents. That's what bothers me the most. I mean, why does Anouk need to sound American? All of them adopt American accents, no one tries to sound british, somehow..

Listening to Andere Hazes: Een Beetje Verliefd. Hmm, think I need some more Dutch music. And I should send you some of that decent Finnish stuff as well.

No idea, actually. "A Little Bit Of Love", or something like that?

Think I better go to bed, this has already turned into a thread with a different topic. Mp3's coming your way later next week.

it most definitely a stellar disc, Cant wait to see DT with Megadeth on the Gigantour

Interesting enough is that I am also listening to "Die Dead Enough" from Megadeth's "The System Has Failed" disc...Dontcha just love the full artwork of this disc? Seems very accurate with the corrupt politicians on the cover

Some show on the History Channel. My dad's watching tv in the livingroom (which is down the hallway and I have the door to this room closed but I can still hear it loud and clear!) I think the man's going deaf in his old age.

Yeah, the cover is classic. It's one of my favs from 'Deth.

I'm going to the Gigantor on 7/23. Can't beat seeing Dream Theater and Megadeth for $35.

Foo Fighters on a repeat of the MTV Movie Awards. Which is a good thing, because I've finally stopped rewinding and rewatching the Rachel McAdams/Ryan Gosling makeout session.
