House Of Blues Chicago question

I am going to the House Of Blues in Chicago and I know that they don't allow cameras, but do they do a search on people with a metal detector or just do a quickie search of people.

Any help or advice on getting a camera in would be much appreciated.

Well not to be the bearer of bad news, but I saw Lindsey on his tour at 3 HOB, Los Angeles, Anaheim, and Chicago, and all I can say is you wouldve thought Osama Bin Laden himself was trying to get into the show they way security operated. All 3 HOB's patted down, wanded and bascialy once I was inside I felt I'd just been interrogated at Guantanamo bay.

Yes, I went to the Chicago HOB show also, but couldn't remember if they actually used wands. Damn - well that just sucks!!!

I got my camera in for Lindsey's show there last year, and here's how:

Use a purse that has a separate pocket space, something you can put the camera in and zip up. They will check the inside of your purse, but it was a pretty cursory check, i.e. my camera was inside the purse, but because it was zipped up in a pocket inside the purse, they didn't see it. They did wand me, but not my purse, so don't try to hide it on your body. Good luck!

when i saw the mac in vegas they used wands, i saw alot of cameras being taken away, but saw alot being used during the show~
not to give tmi, but i stuck mine in my panties, they didn't search there

I thought of doing that, but I was afraid of the use of the wands and then I would be REALLY embarrassed! lol

Put a couple tampons on top of the camera. No security dude will touch 'em.
