A Tusk Tour tee shirt: I think NOT
http://www.etsy.com/listing/92425166...-fleetwood-mac
This dumb bi -t - ch is selling a FM tee shirt for a ridiculous price and touting it as a Tusk Tour tee shirt when it is clearly from the Tango or the BTM Tour. I mean honestly, if you are going to sell something while posing in it you might want to spare yourself from looking like a complete idiot by investigating your product before you sell it. And, who in their right mind would pay more than $30.00 for this shirt anyway? EDIT: the back of the shirt is nice and in small print on the shirt it says copyright 1980. |

The pic is from 1990, but if she sold it as a BTM-era shirt it would still be ugly

Well then, we all know the date doesn't fit the era of the band... But the seller might not know anything about Fleetwood Mac. So it could be a simple mistake. And yes, the shirt is waaaay overpriced.

A quick google search for Fleetwood Mac tour shirts would probably answer a question or two. She obviously knew enough about the band to decide to call it a Tusk shirt. Just seems like you would want to get a clue about a band before you listed a tshirt for $175. I would feel real silly if I had made her mistake. Someone will let her know, I'm sure!

Their was also many "bootlegged" shirts being sold outside of the venues and parking lots throughout the 80's and 90's one that I remember was similiar to the one pictured. $175 really? is it autographed by the entire band? LOL

The shirts being sold in the parking lot COULD have been legit, too. Hypothetically, sales could have been lower than expected that night AND they had a fresh order waiting for them in the next town. Shirts take up a surprising amount of space, and are a pain in the ass to keep track of and transport, so they just cut their losses. On a tour of that magnitude, a few hundred dollars is chump change. Yeah, I had merch duty on the Guided by Voices reunion tour. |

One of the record stores I used to go to in OKC buys tour overstock merch. He tried to sell me a shirt that he kept saying had Stevie on it. It didn't. It was from The Time tour and it was Bekka he kept pointing to.

I bought that shirt at a Behind The Mask show. Sure, it was still over-priced at the time, but that asking price is greedy and outrageous (but only a few of us knew, it was contagious).
