Default Top 20 Christine McVie Songs

To celebrate the Fourth of July, I spent the weekend listening to the songs of Lindsey, Stevie, and Christine. So, to commemorate, I decided to make lists of my 20 favorite songs by each singer. I even think maybe I'll redo the lists every year on the Fourth weekend!

The parameters for my lists (though you may include whatever you like): (1) Solo and Fleetwood Mac tracks qualify; (2) Must be commercially released as music or video; (3) No cover songs; and (4) "The Chain" was exempt from all the lists (in many ways, that song belongs to John McVie's bass line anyway) -- though it is worthy of all of them.

Here's the list I developed for Christine, listed preferentially:

My Top 20 Christine McVie Songs

1. Oh Daddy, Rumours (1977)
2. Over & Over, Tusk (1979)
3. Honey Hi, Tusk (1979)
4. Think About Me, Tusk (1979)
5. Love Shines, 25 Years: The Chain (1992)
6. Isn't It Midnight, Tango In The Night (1987)
7. You Make Loving Fun, Rumours (1977)
8. Say You Love Me, Fleetwood Mac (1975)
9. Brown Eyes, Tusk (1979)
10. Don't Stop, Rumours (1977)
11. Over My Head, Fleetwood Mac (1975)
12. Songbird, Rumours (1977)
13. Never Make Me Cry, Tusk (1979)
14. Warm Ways, Fleetwood Mac (1975)
15. Hold Me, Mirage (1982)
16. Got A Hold On Me, Christine McVie (1984)
17. Everywhere, The Dance (1997)
18. Mystified, Tango In The Night (1987)
19. So Sincere, In The Meantime (2004)
20. Givin It Back, In The Meantime (2004)

Hey, thanks! I had to follow the rules about song authorship, otherwise, I would have put the live-in-studio version of "Crazy 'Bout You Baby" from Madison Blues in there, too

Why - Mystery to Me (played six times - one right after the other)
Love in Store - (Tusk? Tango?) played six or seven times -one right after the other
Temporary One - The Dance - (also played six or seven times)

That makes my 20.

Then breaking the rules....

I Can't Help Falling in Love with You
and Roll with Me Henry... some kind person gave these to me, here on the Ledge...
