Default Rumours feb. 23, 1978

Today, 46 years ago, Rumours won the Album of the Year grammy. Lindsey has posted 2 cool pictures. Glad to see Ken and Richard with them that night. I usually don't remember albums producers that have won with their bands. Of course it is not the case here.

What a journey it's been

I love that they won. So well deserved. Smoke up, Christine!

When Lindsey was standing on that stage accepting his Grammy and glancing over at his ex-girlfriend, the then-new Elvis Costello song “This Year’s Girl” was probably pumping through his brain.

It was Rumours that knocked Hotel California out of the #1 spot in 1977, no?
Then one year later Rumours beats Hotel California for the Grammy Album of the year.
Gotta love the 70s and all that great music. Fleetwood Mac considered a rock band then too

Edit: The Eagles did not go away empty handed. While they lost Album of the year, they won Song of the year with Hotel California.
