Fleetwood Mac references in The Winchesters S1 Ep 2
The new show The Winchesters on the CW (a prequel series to Supernatural) has an interesting series of references to Fleetwood Mac in episode 2 (https://www.cwtv.com/shows/the-winch...b-383f571ba79d) starting at about 8 minutes into the episode. The show is set in the early 70s. The two main characters assume fake identities to find a monster. The man, annoyed by the identity choices made by the woman, says "I'm Mick ... Fleetwood?" to which she responds "Nice to meet you, Mick. I'm Christine McVie". He's clearly annoyed by this, and so she says "Come on - how about you show me a smile!" and he says "You really want me to lay it all down?". Clearly, one of the writers was a fan.

This is bizarre, at least for the CW. None of those 71-74 albums scream youth-centered pop for pretty people. But hey…I’m glad they reference FUTURE GAMES!

It's amazing, yet I'm so confused.
