If that means never performing with Lindsey again, if that’s what makes her happy….so be it…..( her thoughts not mine)
I honestly think she never even gives her actions a second thought.
I tend to agree with you on that.

I agree, too. It's her world, and we're just living in it. Shows what surrounding yourself with yes people for decades will do to you.

The band is definitely done. But solo work is not. Lindsey released a new album just last year and is now touring it. Stevie has released a GREAT cover song and is touring live as we speak also. Even Christine has her solo studio collection of songs out recently.

Mick is probably still playing gigs at his restaurant in Maui.

So yes the band are most likely done, but the solo members of said band are not (except maybe for John, who never really had a solo career anyway).

Also note both Neil Finn and Mike Campbell are still touring with Crowded House and the Dirty Knobs, respectively. With added publicity from their jaunt in Fleetwood Mac.

The music has well and truly NOT stopped yet, my friend!

The only thing here I might challenge is her being in the autumn of her life. Is it not safe to say they are ALL in the winters of their respective discontents, no matter how many facelifts and shawls and seasons of Narcos?

We'll look back on these final years, and realise we had a slow fade out, rather than a last hurrah.

I often think about the LB/CM record, and imagine what they might have done with it, if Ms Nicks had joined in. A massive promotional push all over the planet. Maybe some great music videos! How about a re-worked Big Love video? Same location, zooming in rather than pulling out... They all still looked great in 2017.

I think they should repackage that album, call it 'On With The Show' by Fleetwood Mac. That's what it is, after all. Add a couple of bonus tracks, give it a decent cover. There's your final act.

"$he most definitely killed the band. Old hag."

WOW.

Sorry, there are/were FIVE people in the band.

She didn't fire him, the band did.

Lindsey is still waiting for ONE of his solo records to get Gold-certified.
Never gonna happen! I love him, but his records don't sell. I thought he would turn into a super-producer, crafting hits for other artists, but that never happened.

Oh puhleeeasse, she said, "it's him or me". If that's not getting someone fired, idk what is!

I agree partially, cause nobody answered "If Lindsey gets fired I'll leave the band". So I would understand everybody cared about money. That's why I was upset with the whole band, then. Even with Lindsey, cause I also think we will never know the complete real details of what actually happened. They didn't tell the whole story, IMHO.

He didn't want to tour, so THE BAND said "your're fired."

Stevie put the band first. Lindsey, a selfish egoMANIAC without a single Gold record, thinks people want to see him solo. They don't. His tours are restricted to TINY theaters and $20 tickets on Groupon. He doesn't even have a solo Gold album. He is not a star. SHE IS.
