I will defintely be watching for Lindsey tonight, but SNL sucks these days. Everytime I have flipped to it all their jokes are sex related. It gets old. Where are the characters? It's just not the same but that is another subject.

It hasn't been funny since the late 80s, everytime I've turned it on it sounds like the same old sh*t.

I think most comedy these days trades on the old standard of blue humour and cheap laughter. They saw how successfully it worked for the likes of Bill Hicks and Richard Pryor and decided that it would automatically be a successful route for them. They forget that Bill and Richard for the most part were personalities first and foremost. Not generic trademarks and fodder of commerce.

This is my problem with my beloved Larry David on Curb Your Enthusiasm. It's stilll funny, admirably so, but I think because the show is on cable, he frequently uses language and shock for an easy laugh, instead of the wit and creativity that NBC standards forced him to use with Seinfeld.

Anyway, I would think that Lindsey HAS to get the chance to talk, but he will probably be cut off abruptly. I don't think the skit is really funny at all, but I look forward to it tonight.

oh come on! do you need to go to work early sunday morning?

you couldn't decide whether to go see him in LA, and ended up not going and having a really bad experience back in NYC. maybe take that as a sign? now he basically came to you and you are still not going b/c it's past your bedtime?!?!

his role in that skit is so bad, he could use some fan support!
