What sorta twisted reverse auction is this anyway?

We've gone from 250k to 35k to 15k to 4k and now down to a possible $100.

Cool....I would want it...but the price tag is a bit nuts. I think $10,000 would be fair for it, considering (according to Rick) the newer instruments are far superior.

I agree, and it was for that reason Barry said this guitar is so unique.
With the Vintage original body plus the bonus of the brand new electronics which are much better than the originals. I have the best of both worlds.

There have been SEVERAL Model 1's on eBay lately. They seem to go for $3000-$3500. Now, they might not be vintage, but still......
I played a new one in Nashvegas, about 3 years ago....if mammary serves, the price tag was $3500.

I'm deeply in debt right now, but will be able to retire in about 7 years. THEN, I WILL have a model 1.

So I've been thinking about this for a while now.
In about 8 - 9 weeks I'm gonna put the guitar on ebay and I would be prepared to let it go for around $7000 - $7500.
So this is me giving Fello fans and Ledgies first preference.
Demon you know you want it. Chili you need another one and shackin'up Doesnt Holland need one too

It can be shipped straight from Rick Turners Factory when its ready

An alternative option is to pay me $5000 now. And pay Rick $1500 when the restoration is complete and its yours today for a mere total of $6500 "bargin."

How do you think i felt when I went down to my guitar teacher two years ago, not even knowing how to play a C chord. I had this almighty lefty Model 1 guitar. He never seen one of those guitars before ,and even he could tell it was special. He looked at me like i had two heads and said "Whats that". I said "its a guitar, now teach me how to play it." the rest is history.

And what was the first song he taught me, yes indeed "house of the rising bloody sun".
