Most blues songs follow one of four patterns and there are almost no variations from that handfull of patterns
Technically, ok, I'll bite, a little...but blues is such an EMOTIONAL art form, variation is infinite depending on the individual's playing. Clapton, Peter Green, Buddy Guy, etc, would probably not be as agreeable to your comment as I am!
