He did the solo to close the song out. It was great to see him having fun with the house band too. None of the other guest performers did that.

Also liked that the didn't do the high chorus, neither did Cass Colman. She was really good. The tambo was great.

Stevie was at home watching (she said she watches AI), not happy
Stevie says a lot of things when it's convenient.....

My other half, who only knows LB because I've dragged him to several shows and actually met him at one meet and greet watch the promo clip and went "OH MY GOD he looks like Caitlyn Jenner".....

I met your other half once and he’s a funny guy, and now that you mention it, he’s on the right path

Like someone said on Twitter, he’s 71 and a heart surgery, for God’s sake! He gave a master class in guitar. We should be thankful and hope that whatever is happening on his face goes away soon. Really soon.

That was great! He sounded really good, and looked good too - no real signs of 'intervention', in my opinion. Great to see him up there.

I wish he'd looked at her just once though! He could have been friendlier... Maybe he was a bit nervous.

She did sing a lot of the song. Maybe better they didn't sing to each other...then it really would've been staged like a FM performance.

There's a nice picture of Lindsey and Cass holding hands.

I don't see Caitlyn in Lindsey... but Lindsey can still rock for almost 72. Watching Lionel was fun. He was into the performance a lot.

That promo clip of Lionel and LB cracked me up. They both have been botoxed to death. Lindsey's teeth look like they are going their own way and he totally looks and sounds like Caitlyn Jenner.
Watching that American Idol performance reminded me of what it was like to be in the gay bars in 1984 with those swaying laser lights going in every direction to keep people entertained while the performances bore you. Every single person in that room looked like they were faking their happiness. The person singing with LB was bland and boring to me and his performance felt like a waste of time. His guitar sounded good but vocally he bored me and I really felt like there was no point in him being there. His job is to enhance the singer he is paired with and yet he ignored her altogether.
Then for heck's sake I watched the Sheryl Crow performance and she looked really happy and into the farce that was American Idol but the guy singing with her was awful. His tone sounded the same on both the songs. He has no range nor stage presence. I never liked this show. Can you tell? Cheesy to the max.

Well, if there is one philosophy he and Stevie agree on, it is the "pick a stage uniform and drive it into the ground."

yeah next to Lionel Lindsey looks as natural as can be, considering how much work Lionel obviously has had done.

i adore that clip though because it's such pure typical Lindsey and also because of such obvious camaraderie and respect between the two of them.

But he ignored her!

That's a really beautiful photo of them and message she wrote.
