I think you are right. Also people who may not even be casual fans.

How is that even possible?

the only thing I can think of is that mayyyybe Christine's FAMILY had some jewelry made and shared at the memorial service....??

Because NO ONE else would have access to her ashes. (I was in charge of my dad's).

When asked what she's grateful for, she mentioned her diamond rings and her boots before saying she was grateful for singing with all Tom and others, and NOTHING about FM.

If what she said is true (with Stevie you never know), definitely she got that bit of ashes from Christine's family.

Oh of course she had to show that off on national television. Keep something that personal to yourself? if it makes for a dramatic Stevie moment, all bets are off. What a classless piece of celebrity trash. I’m glad Christine’s family showed her the door.

She seemed fairly sincere in that bit, too.

Weird interview, not much talking. Mostly rehashing VH1 stuff with the same old pictures.

Boy, those lower teeth are looking rough and she can't pronounce an "S" for anything anymore!

Did you catch her respond to the interviewer that she terminated her pregnancy because Lindsey would have been mad she and Don Henley had a child? That was a new one.

Stevie is still hung up at things that occurred when she and Lindsey were in their 30s.

She also told the interviewer that she wanted to go England to sing Touched By An Angel to Christine and she's sad she never said goodbye.

Okay—so here’s my take: I don’t really care if she ever repairs the relationship with Lindsey. Even if she’s being petty or cruel — and she may very well not be — it’s her choice. What I loathe is how she has commandeered the FM legacy and rewritten history to call herself a peacemaker. I loathe that she speaks for the band at all.

Truth is both she AND Lindsey come off as insufferably self-absorbed in interviews, albeit for different reasons and in different ways. I can only imagine how Fleetwood and the McVies managed their forty-five year quarrel. At the same time, it’s also true that the core trio of Brits wanted to tether themselves to their shiny, attractive American bandmates because those two had—and still have—genuine charisma. They might be narcissists, they may also be toxic, but people tune in to watch their dramas and spats, their immature squabbles and resentments. So, in a way, Mick and John sort of let Lindsey and Stevie be the mouthpieces.

Christine always occupied the middle ground—a team player who had moments in the spotlight. Right up to the end, she gave interviews that placed things in perspective. She didn’t do right by Bob Welch until after he died, and she consented to participate in the 2018 circus, but she always came back round to the truth. I miss her so much.

“Church of Stevie”. What does that even mean?

Is she comparing herself to a God?

God pales in comparison to Stevie Nicks.

I've been telling y'all for years that she's batsh1t crazy... I'm glad so many are finally seeing her true colors.

I’m serious….

What is she saying when she says she believes in the Church of Stevie Nicks?

Honestly- I don’t get what she is implying ….

PS - thank you Homer… but I was looking for a sincere response from anyone else.

i think she was just saying that she believes in herself...? that she is the guiding force in her own life? as a nonreligious person myself, i have said similar things over the years when pressed my by religious family to pray, like when my son was young and nonverbal etc...i said *I* make things happen for him in terms of therapies etc, not God. it pissed me off when people gave an invisible being credit for something i put so much friggin work and energy into. anyway... i don't think she was saying she thought she was "a God".

not that i wasn't shaking my head at *other* things she said lol....but that part, i kind of got!

We still don’t know the whole story, or the ‘true” story. It’s all shaded by peoples point of view and perspective. When emotions are involved it distorts reality. We just get snippets and small pieces of the story. I do admit the interview left me confused and disappointed in Stevie and her reality. I wish Christine had written an auto biography, I think her side would have been the most accurate. But in the end of the day, this is a person who we really don’t know, and what goes on behind closed doors of her most personal life.

Oh yes----and honestly that was gross. Don't hang your decision on someone else's reaction (real or perceived). I appreciate how open and honest she is about her choice and decision, because regardless of where it's coming from or why, it's important. That said, saying Lindsey would have been mad for her to have a child with someone else is a new low. And let's be honest, we don't know if the world at large would have known she had an abortion, save for Henley telling the world. That's kind of disgusting too. The way she's rewriting the history of the band, and honestly the way she's being allowed to do it is the saddest of all.

She's nuts, truly truly nuts. Kids, don't do drugs
