Well, I'm not gonna make you dig thru 51 pages of this thread.....

One of the file clerks in our office - her cousin dated Constantine. They had a bad breakup and he stalked her, which then led to her filing a restraining order against him. The boy can sing, I'll give him that. But...eeewww w/ the creepy history. There's also a vid clip of him floating around on the internet - he was on Elimidate (or something like it), acting like a total dork!

Wow, he looks too self involved to stalk anybody. Nevertheless, that is creepy. And...Elimidate?
awesome info, Livia.

Oh man, 10 minutes? You probably even know people who know him then! He's awesome.

Arrow Brian May's take on BR

Got this from another board. It was posted in the "Queen News" section.

I just watched a young 29 year old American Idol contestant named
Constantine Maroulis perform Bohemian Rhapsody - and absolutely destroy the
place with it. In a competition geared towards 15-25 year olds, he got a
standing ovation and Simon Cowell used the word "astounding" to describe the
performance, which I'd wholeheartedly agree with.

He did the first verse, and then the "Rock" section up until the end of the
song. Completely incredible. It wasn't Kareoke at all, he wasn't cabaret",
although his mannerisms were very theatrical, you didn't get a sense that he
was necessarily trying to be a "mock Freddie". It was legitimately powerful
and it stood up on its own (as far as i'm concerned).

Default Constantine...

I obviously do not know the details but people do have bad breakups all the time. Those type of personal things, where both people probably have two different takes on what really happened should not really affect whether he wins based on his talent. Scott obviously has not been THAT affected and he wacked his lady over the head with a phone. Much worse. I am not saying I do not understand, stalking is serious but there are degrees and he is still talented. That said, I like Carrie. She is boring but her voice is incredible. Constantine is good and getting better but the camera mugging is so friggin annoying. However, if he really hurt someone, he might not be a good candidate to win. Its just we all have skeletons of some sort, some worse than others.

I don't know if I agree with this. I thought that too until I heard her sing "Alone" and "Love is a Battlefield" where she all but came out of herself. Although she butchered certain parts of Battlefield, her delivery and vocal strength were outstanding on those songs so I know there's a rocker lurking in her somewhere.

Unfortunately though, her heart is in country and I fear that if she wins it will be all country all the time. Ugh. But she's got vocal talent for sure.

Smile A.i.

Carrie is still the one to beat, JMO, though she needs dance lessons!

I couldn't believe Bo was in the bottom three. Scott & Anthony need to go.
