I remember a famous mexican journalist commenting his latest interview to Robert Redford, in the late 70s. He said about Redford he's always been a nice person. Everyone is when they're starting out, but they change when fame comes.

I can imagine how stressful fame can be, but it's no excuse to become a jerk. And some starts aren't. I remember a latin singer, very charismatic, who said she doesn't like to be called a diva.
