Lay off Silver Girl, you guys! She's had a few hard times (sometimes it blows her mind!) Have some sensitivity!

In all seriousness, though, I adore RTTG. If I heard that song just about anywhere I'd be thoroughly pleased, and people would probably stare at me in confusion/wonder due to my inability to stop smiling. What is with people and that song? It's amazing!

I love that song. It's the first one I listen to when I play the CD.

It's definitely an album highlight for me. Whenever I make post-The-Dance Stevie playlists, RTTG finds its way into the mix. People often seem to complain that Stevie's vocals were monotonous on that album, but I think RTTG (and EBFO) is one of the most emotionally moving vocals of her career.

I stumbled across The Dance album in my local Tesco for £3. I haven't been more willing to scramble through my change to buy it. I think it's about time they re-released this album with the missing tracks that were included on the DVD (Gold Dust Woman, Gypsy, Go Insane, Songbird, Over My Head). I loved the album, but I missed those songs.

Hahahahaha' No CD player or MP3 player.

No its magic from somewhere.

It happens in the car when I turn on the radio and also shopping at the stores.

And yes I have to say sometimes I do tune the radio band just looking for Stevie or FM tunes when there is other tunes playing on the radio.

I have no idea what was playing before that! I was walking away from the frozen food section and barely heard "...she was just....". I turn to my husband and son and say something about hearing Stevie. Then it occurred to me what song it was!

I know this isn't a popular opinion, but I like 'Silver Girl' far more than I like RTTG!!

I understand exactly what you mean! That sort of thing used to happen to me a lot. In fact, sometimes I'd just get some thought out of nowhere that said 'FM is playing now!' and I'd turn on the radio and there they would be!

One of the weirdest things I had happen was in the early '90s. MTV used to do something called 'What If Wednesdays'. I was at a neighbor's house and she had MTV on. I had barely sat down at her house and she left the room for some reason. The MTV VJ was then saying 'What if it was 1984...' and suddenly I just knew without any doubt that they were about to play the vid for 'Go Insane'!!

At that point, I hadn't seen the video since 1984. I think I screamed and totally freaked my neighbor out!

Hahaha.Yes .I was in Lowe's tonight looking for new tires for my lawn tractor. As I walked in they had FM's SYW blasting trough out the store.

FM brought me luck tonight .I did find the tires for my tractor which includes the rims and which were half price then the ones I found online and at local lawnmower repair shops .

Yes I missed the original MTV,VH1 and CMT. They totally suck now.

"Don't Stop" was just played at the restaurant where I was having lunch. When the waitress asked me if everything was okay (meaning my food), I said, "It's better now."

I miss how MTV and VH1 used to be, too. At least VH1 Classic has some good videos on!

I don't miss them at all. Even if all they did was play videos 24 hours a day, I still would not be watching. I never watch TV anymore unless I'm at someone else's house where it is on or some tragic world event occurs or some dangerous weather happens in my area. My 37 inch TV substitutes as my computer monitor. FM look amazing in HD.

I was watching The Simpsons, Fox OnDemand, and they showed a preview/behind the scenes segment of Andy Samberg's new show Brooklyn Nine Nine. All the cast were talking about how intimidated they were to have Andre Braugher on the show, he plays the Captain. Andy said he knew Andre was ok when he passed his trailer and heard Andre "blasting the Mac". They showed Andre and he said "Yeah, it was an intense shooting day and I was playing Rumours, I needed my Stevie Nicks fix". Liked him already, but he definitely moved up in my book after this.

I heard 'Don't Stop' while shopping at a grocery store today.

Only had one unexpected FM moment - it was my neighbor across the street blasting Tusk and I could hear it outside.
