What is new if anything with Bekka? The last I head of her is the duet album she did with Billy Burnette. I'm curious where she's at. Sharon

Well, she recently got married. Other than that, the last I read about her was her work on Betty Harris' album, Intuition. That came out last year. About a year ago, she was touring with Vince Gill, but his daughter has taken over Bekka's backup position since then.

She's done a lot more since the Bekka and Billy album, though not as much as I'd like her to have done. Among other things, she released her own solo album in 2002 (which, sadly, is now out of print), appeared on the 2000 Billy Burnette album Are You With Me Baby and also did some backing vocals for Bob Seger's Face the Promise.

Oh cool, so Bekka remained in the country msic scene.
