I am so I can't even express myself.

Thank God, there's new Bryan Ferry, Scritti Politti, and Iris Dement albums coming out this year.

That said: I would like to hear from Stevie and Lindsey on all of this.

18 MONTHS?!?

Maybe that's how long Stevie and Lindsey need to prepare material.

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

So glad for him to say it was a happy, happy tour. Of course, I doubt I'll hear those words out of Stevie's mouth, but I'll take what I can get.

I hate to say this, but this is what I was thinking when I read it. Hall & Oates just lost their long time bass player/musical director & he was only 58. You never know. Why 18 months? Well, now is the time for a Stevie and/or Lindsey solo album. I'd like some new music from somebody while Mick tours with his other band.

This is exactly what I was thinking. Their time is limited. If anything, they should be taking less time off. I was terribly saddened to hear of (Hall and Oates' bass player) T-Bone's sudden passing. Like you said, you never know.

That and remastered versions of LIVE, Mirage, and Tango in the Night, as well as Stevie's first four albums. Of course, all of these should come with a healthy amount of bonus tracks.

It won't happen.

If memory serves, they known he had heart problems, for some time. As far as we know, the Maccers are all healthy. I've always wondered about Lindsey's family's heart attack history....if he's in danger?

Hasn't anyone learned by now that you can't take everything anyone (in Fleetwood Mac) says so literally? I learned that 20 years ago.

Will I see they need some R&R ,I could see Stevie going solo sometime during the break,a new cd with new tunes from her demo collection of 100's of songs allready written and a couple new ones, and no retreads of covers.ya I dont hold my breath on it.but we will see. Also I can see "on the fly" tour this summer for her.Lindsey could hit the road too,if he gets board.Of course Micks statement in the interview a 18 month break.this could change in the next few months if someone interviews him again.

It's only a dream...

Last night in my sleep: It was in the daytime and it was Summertime and I was walking down the street I grew up on. I was carrying a boombox(remember those?) and the radio station played a brand new song by Fleetwood Mac called Freedom Faliure with Christine on lead vocals, but you could clearly hear Lindsey and Stevie on it as well. Lindsey's vocal was a slight bit more prominent than Stevie's.
The song sounded exactly like Heart Of Stone but with different words.
