Exclamation What upcoming concerts interest you?

What concerts that are coming to you area have peaked your interest?

Keith Urban-March 10 Ford Center (Deb is a fan club member...A definite must-attend show for her & myself)

Robert Plant-March 13 Coca-Cola Event Center (Won't be no parking that evening with the Josh Groban show at the Ford Center a block up the road...I guess Bricktown/Downtown never learned from the lack of parking disaster of having Phil Collins at the Ford & Willie Nelson/Bob Dylan at the Bricktown Ballpark on the same night)

Was hoping for U2 in OKC but U2 has not scheduled many US dates (Which have been announced today) on the first part of the 2005 World Tour (There will be more dates in the US in late summer/Early fall)

I am SO going to this show! No Houston Rodeo for me. I'm a FC member too, and hey everyone, it only costs 20 bucks! Granted, you don't really get anything for it, sans a heads up on tickets, but 20 bucks is better than 60 or 80.

Not sure if I'm going to be there alone or if my mom would like to come. Either way, I'll be there!

Don't know of anyone else coming...just waiting for Lindsey album/tour news.....very impatiently. LOL

U2 as well, but they are not as of now coming to Atlanta. I must say, the June 29: Cardiff, Wales (Millennium Stadium) show seems enticing as I LOVE that town!!!!!

Deb has a follow-up appt with her Oncologist (Cancer is long gone, She will be cancer free for a year this June...She is planning to get a tattoo of the KU "Monkey Guitar" logo) that afternoon, So We wont have to waste a trip to OKC (But we will be able to write that medical related trip off on next year's taxes )

I am hopefully going to see The Eagles on March 19, 2005 at the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence. I don't have a ticket yet but I hope to score a good seat on Ticketmaster if I am lucky.

Um, seriously? NONE. I just got an entire new job added to my duties at work- I'm now buying concert tickets for our company for the entire central region, for all of our artists, and I'm about to kick some ass out of frustration.

The two shows I WAS really excited about before I started this crap were Autolux/Secret Machines at the Metro and Modest Mouse at the Congress Theatre.

I am pretty excited about U2, though.

None. The bands/people I'd love to see either aren't currently touring or aren't coming here:

Heart
Petty
Motley Crue
U2
Velvet Revolver
Martina McBride

ass-tarts did with the Myriad (Sits directly across from the Ford Center...Comparing the Myriad to the Ford Center is like comparing a Ford Pinto to a Shelby Mustang GT-350), Renamed it the "Cox Business Resource Center"...Sorry, It will ALWAYS be the Myriad in my eyes.

My mom just had another scare, she had a follow-up to her mammogram today. Fortunately she is fine! The lump they saw is a calcium deposit or something and hasn't grown in 4 years so it can't be cancer. I was worried, she had a mastectomy last year and I would hate for her to have to go through that again.

I'm so glad Deb is cancer free too

I can't wait to see Petty this summer. And Blondie will most likely be touring in the States again, so I'll probably see them a couple of times. I hope Lindsey releases an album and tours to support it. I want to see Franz Ferdinand this summer, too, naturally.
