Thanks for sharing these photos Mario!

I guess the last photo is from Peter's own house/apartment. He certainly has a lot on his table. Hopefully they're birthday presents! Let's hope he has someone to clean his house...

I notice a flute on the wall. Two guitars in the background, and one ethnic instrument. Perhaps a Chinese pipa... He should do some recordings with that one!!

I guess the possible guest appearance on Bernie Marsden's coming album didn't turn out. Bernie talked about the guest musicians on his website, but he didn't mention Peter.

Last comment: Notice the way that woman looks at Peter...

Indeed an iPod!
So, what's on Peter's iPod??

Robert Johnson, Bukka White, Son House?
Muddy Waters, Howlin Wolf, Bo Diddley?
John Mayall, Fleetwood Mac, Eric Clapton?
Justin Bieber? Rhianna? Miley Cyrus?

Wow! Thanks for posting this!! I've never heard of this guy, but he's fantastic!! I've listened to several of his songs now. He and Peter do have really some similarity. They way they hit the strings, and the "playful" playing.

you're welcome. galban's background runs back to the 50's i think and he was strongly influenced by duane eddy along the way. to my ears he has an approach that relates to hank marvin, and other non blues players among peter's influences

the playful things he does remind me of peter every time!

there are a great interviews with ry cooder about finding galban in the early 2000s, working on their collaboration, on mg's influences and background. i'll send you the links if i can find them...
