![]() One comment below on the YouTube video asks if Peter Green realized after this performance that he had pulled off the best guitar solo ever? The same is repeated in countless other comments. This solo has inspired guitarists who came after him, including Stan Webb.

![]() Yes, guitarists Peter Green and Stan Webb must knew each other. Both were prominent figures in the British blues scene during the 1960s and 1970s. Peter Green, best known as the founder of Fleetwood Mac, was a highly influential blues guitarist. Stan Webb, the frontman of Chicken Shack, was also a well-respected blues guitarist and vocalist.
Their paths likely crossed frequently due to their involvement in the same music scene, and they shared stages at various blues festivals and concerts. Additionally, Chicken Shack was signed to Blue Horizon, a label closely associated with Fleetwood Mac, which further suggests that Green and Webb would have had professional interactions. While there may not be extensive documentation of a deep personal relationship, their mutual respect and shared musical environment indicate that they were acquainted. |

![]() Elvis is also the king of deepfake, here's another posthumous performance - while you wait, Peter Green will be brought back to life in the same way.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iIsJkStGaNs This speculation about new deepfake representations of Peter Green made with the help of artificial intelligence is of course not intended to dishonor his memory, but to keep his memory alive for future generations. ![]() How British blues rose to a level in the 1960s that has not been surpassed since? There were 3 bands at the center - John Mayall and the Bluesbrakers, Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac and Stan Webb's Chicken Shack. Stan Webb tells how it all started for him. The most interesting part starts at 8.20 min. - where he talks about his encounters with, among others, Peter Green and other members of Fleetwood Mac.

![]() Let's play the fantasy game that Peter Green had survived his drug experiments and not lost his sanity or had to undergo fatal electroshock therapy - had maintained his youthful level of guitar playing - even improving his skills as he got older - would live and still return to tour every few years to perform as the frontman of the brilliant band he had assembled...
Let's imagine that his love for the blues had remained throughout his life (like BB. King) - what would he sound like today? Perhaps the closest we can get to this image is with the help of his contemporary and fellow guitarist Stan Webb. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M6Tr...0iUk8&index=22 |

![]() Peter Green's "Black Magic Woman" is played here by a South American street musician who ended up in the Canary Islands - it also sounds good as a Latin version with Santana flavors.
