Paging John McVie: We have your money!
Didn't see this posted yet, so I'm transcribing it.
From the Rolling Stone "500 Greatest Songs" issue, "In the News" p. 42... --------------------------------------- Paging John McVie SoundExchange, which collects royalties for songs played on satellite, Internet and cable TV radio, is searching for more than 30,000 artists it has checks for (totalling $1 million) -- including Fleetwood Mac bassist John McVie, Collective Soul, and Ginuwine. The company has collected $15 million this year and expects $35 million in 2005. "For older artists, they either don't have management or no one knows how to reach them," says John Simson, its executive director. And sometimes -- as in the case of McVie -- publishing companies lose track of artists, no matter how well-known. "It's important we get in touch because moving forward, these checks will be much larger," he says. --------------------------------------- So, Marty or Lis, can you please e-mail John and tell him to pick up his check?!?!?! It seems you two are the only people on the whole planet who can get in touch with him. |

This is John McVie's management. Neither of the previous posters are John McVie. Do not fall for their blatant attempts at fraud. I will be contacting you regarding where to send Mr. McVie's royalties.

You guys are cracking me up. Alas, Villavic, I think he was heading to Hawaii as of late, not Peru. And Amber, John *has* no management, hence the lack of timeliness in picking up that royalty $! But good attempts, both of you.
Thanks for posting this info. I just e-mailed it to him in case he isn't aware he has $ to collect. So typical. -Lis |

Ahem...
This is John's bass...I've endured countless years of commitment to Mr. John McVie and I've also had to listen to that witchy lady go on and on about nag champ(r)a and some chicks named Rhiannon and Sara. Also, that high haired kid treats my buddies like CRAP, did you SEE what he did to Larry in London!! EGADS!! Also, the tall guy is always running at the mouth about his next business venture. HELP!!!
Send me the check. Thanks much.

I believe there was no management listed for him in 'The Dance' liner notes either. Our John is a no-frills guy!

Yup. On The Dance and LIB, he doesn't have management listed, either. That's bad ass!
