a message from alex (greatdarkwing)

I just talked to Alex on the phone, and he wanted me to get on here and post about what happened to him yesterday. He just got out of the hospital after slicing open the back of his leg from knee all the way down his calf (I think that is what he said...he sounded heavily medicated). Anyways was in surgery for 2 hours, they had to clamp his muscles? Sorry, we talked for like 2 minutes and he wasn't all there. So he will be in a wheel chair for 2 weeks. ANd he told me to post to all of you that he misses you and will talk soon.

Thanks Becky. I got the news about a half hour ago. Today has been just bad news. I just found out that one of my best friend's father passed away today, too
I'll have to talk to Alex later tonight. What an awful thing to have to go through.
I'll have to send him a nice package in the mail.

I just spoke to Alex and he is doing a bit better. He is just kind of sad about the whole situation. He said that he would be posting something tomorrow.

today has been nerve wracking for me since my Mother had major surgery done (She's fine...Will be in ICU for a few days) so between 3 of us (Older sis Lesa, My older bro Geary & myself...Even oldest sis Christy called Lesa to check in, Cant wait to talk to her on the phone) we have been bouncing emails & phone calls.

Oh well, Come Thursday will be able to relax & unwind since Deb & myself are goin' to the Keith Urban show in OKC.

When I talk to him, I will let him know that he has lots of nice messages on the Ledge

I think he cut it the corner of a fish tank. Sounds pretty bad.

My ex did this to himself with a box cutter - it was scary. But it sounds like Alex's is even worse.
