Default What one performance do you think Chris looked best at?

Sorry if this has been brought up before. It's just something I thought of yesterday (as I was ranting on Tumblr about how a lot of people don't find her conventionally beautiful, but I think she's stunning and blah blah blah - I must drive people crazy).
So yeah, not just a particular time period, I guess not even necessarily a performance, but a specific concert or interview or whatever.
I really thought she looked incredible at the Super Bowl. I wish more of it had been filmed (or shown, at least). When it comes down to it, her outfit was actually kind of ridiculous. Cowboy boots and a mini-skirt? The bead embroidered jacket with the ruffles on it (the skirt had beads too, actually)? The sunglasses? It was all really odd when you think about it, but she worked it. There was just something about her hair that day (her hair, maybe - the length, and how it didn't look too voluminous but was still style just right). Also, I think I can speak for everyone when I say that I really love when Chris shows a little leg
Another thing is the various little looks and smiles she gave between lines when she sang Say You Love Me. Good lord, her smile just makes me melt. I swear to you, I love her so much it makes me physically ache sometimes...
Ahem, so, anyhow, what are some other peoples' favorite looks of Christine's?

^^^ I wholeheartedly agree. Pretty much anything throughout the 90's. Watching her on The Dance when I was 10 or 11 is what made me go from loving her merely for her music to being completely captivated by her in every way - her music, her personality, her beauty, all of it.

With that, I should also point out that I hope I don't come off as shallow, talking about how much I love her and starting this thread about her best looks and everything. The music is obviously the most important thing, but I appreciate EVERYTHING about her, and that includes her beauty.
I'm not shallow, I swear.

Oh gosh! I instinctively want to go into total fangirl mode and say she ALWAYS looks fantastic. However, I really loved her Tusk look. The back of her hair pinned up like that makes my heart go all fluttery. I just think it's lovely.

The Mirage video.

She looks so happy, and obviously has a good buzz. I love it when she's lip syncing to Blue Letter!

Default Tango In The Night

I think she looks beautiful during the Tango year. But, specifically, she looks gorgeous, beautiful, HOT, in the SEVEN WONDERS video clip.

This is probably because I hadn't seen them in a long time and not because she looked her best, but I was blown away by the way she looked for the Dance recording. The pants suit was so flattering. She looked trim and chic. She didn't look like herself in photos taken during that time, but on video her personality still shone through and it was so heartwarming to see. She looked healthier than she had at times in the past.

Christine definitely looked her best during the Chicken Shack days and this was about the only time she demonstrated any sense of style. Since then, she has just become progressively more ugly, not that she was any great beauty to begin with...
PS Does anyone realise that the reason Christine seemed unrecognisable during The Dance was that she had been heavily facelifted (as she had been for the Behind The Mask album) and was wearing a wig (just as she did for the Tango In The Night live video)?

Are you out of your damn mind? She is absolutely beautiful. Maybe not conventionally pretty, but definitely gorgeous in her own way.
God, it just kills me when people say that. An old friend of mine once said she looks like a man and I literally started to cry (I almost feel like crying now).
Christine and her music really really mean a lot to me on an extremely personal level, and I really can't stand it when people I care about get blatantly insulted like that.
Maybe you don't like her for whatever reason, but that's no excuse to be a jerk. You could always just avoid this section of the forum, you know.
You're just mean.
